BORDENTOWN — Veronica O’Keefe died Oct. 11 in Arizona with her loving family by her side.
Born in Baltimore, she moved to Hamilton in 1948 and resided there until 1993 when she moved to Sun City West, Ariz. She had a career as a buyer and fashion coordinator. She worked for many different store including Yards, Lit Brothers, Dunhams and Macys. In her later years she was employed by the New Jersey Division of Taxation. She was a member of the Hillcrest Dance Club, the International Dance Club, and the Arizona Braille and Talking Club.
The daughter of the late Heramin and Antonia Oleksinski, she was predeceased by her husband, Bernard H. O’Keefe Sr. She is survived by her children, Bernard H. O’Keefe Jr. and Maureen H. Perfect; her four grandchildren and her eight great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 45 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Trenton.
