The Lawrence Brook Watershed Partnership is sponsoring its eighth annual “Waterwheels Bicycle Tour” Oct. 25. The original date was rescheduled due to Hurricane Hannah.
The tour is a fun, informative 26-mile ride with optional add-on loops to Plainsboro Preserve, spotlighting the natural and historic features of the area.
The ride will be leader-led or travel at your own pace with a cue sheet. Maps, signage and a sag wagon are available.
Registration is 8:30 a.m. at the East Brunswick Curriculum Center/McGinnis School at Hardenburg Lane and Dunhams Corner Road, East Brunswick, next to Warnsdorfer Elementary School, 9 Hardenburg Lane. The ride starts at 9 a.m.
The fee is $5 per person, $3 for students and LBWP members for insurance coverage. Helmets are required. Snacks will be available.
