Hillsborough cops endorse GOP slate

Ted Lewis, Hillsborough
Hillsborough Local 205 of the Police Benevolent Association is pleased to endorse the re-election of Hillsborough Mayor Anthony Ferrera, and the election of his running-mate Gloria McCauley, to the Hillsborough Township Committee on Nov. 4th.
This endorsement is not for or against any political party, but recognizes the track record and effective leadership of our current mayor, and his running-mate.
Specifically, they have proven that the protection of our officers while performing their duties is one of their primary concerns. They have strong accomplishments in both the Law Enforcement and the Emergency Management areas such as supporting the establishment of the K-9 program, supporting educational training for police officers, ensuring that the police vehicle rotation program continues to provide safe vehicles for officers with modern crime fighting technologies in the vehicles, and supported upgrading of computer and communication technologies in the Police Department to ensure rapid response by officers and access to up to date information making the officers better informed.
As a leading member of the Capital Planning Committee, Ms. McCauley has demonstrated strong support for these initiatives, and has pledged to continue her support on the Township Committee.
Mr. Ferrera and Ms. McCauley have shown us that they have the unquestioned integrity and honesty in government that both the Hillsborough residents and officers will continue to need.
We urge all Hillsborough residents to vote for Mayor Ferrera and Ms. McCauley on Nov. 4th.
