Jill Sisenwine Berger

   Jill Sisenwine Berger, 38, died Oct. 9.
   Mrs. Berger was a physical therapist and an adjunct professor at Temple University and Arcadia University. A graduate of the of the University of Pennsylvania, she received a master’s degree in physical therapy from Hahnemann University Hospital and a master’s degree in counseling from Villanova University. While at Hahnemann, she received the Eleanor Carlin Award as the outstanding graduate, Class of 1996, in recognition of distinguished academic achievement.
   Following her graduation from Hahnemann, she became a supervisor for the University of Pennsylvania Health Systems and managed three outpatient facilities.
   While working as a physical therapist, she also taught physical therapy to doctoral students at Temple University and at Arcadia University. She received the Outstanding Faculty Award from Arcadia University in 2007. She facilitated a support group for vestibular and dizzy patients and worked in orthopedics in a private physical therapy practice.
   The wife of Scott and mother of Lindsey and Justin, she was the daughter of Samuel and Phyllis Sisenwine of Langhorne, Pa., and daughter-in-law of Bruce and Barbara Berger of Hopewell. She is also survived by a brother Rabbi Joel (Heidi) Sisenwine of Newton Lower Falls, Mass.; a sister Marnie Barry Dratch of Newtown, Pa.; a sister-in-law Liz (Jordan) Friedman of Seattle, Wash.; and nieces and nephews.
   Burial was at Shalom Memorial Park, Huntingdon Valley, Pa.
