EAST WINDSOR The Twin Rivers Homeowners Association is expected to vote on its 2009 budget next month.
While the fiscal plan still must have some details hashed out by the board, Treasurer Aaron Sears said Oct. 16 that he expects association fees to rise 3 percent to 4 percent next year. He added the caveat that the board could make significant changes to the budget over the next month.
This past year, association residents saw a 5.25 percent rise in the association’s annual budget. That translated into a hike in association fees for the owners of every size of home.
The largest hike was $10.20 for owners of detached houses. Studio condominium owners saw their fees rise by 50 cents.
Twin Rivers is home to about 10,000 of the township’s 25,000 residents.
