HILLSBOROUGH — Police are searching for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a female victim in the wooded area between the Amwell Center strip mall and Bloomingdale Drive between 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Oct. 18.
According to police, the victim reported that the man pushed her to the ground from behind while she was outside walking. She told police the man grabbed her neck once she was on the ground.
Police said the victim reported the man then grabbed her breast and groin under her clothing before fleeing the scene on a black mountain bicycle after she yelled out.
The victim did not seek medical treatment, but did receive minor injuries, police said.
According to a description released by police, the man is a brown-skinned Hispanic in his mid-30s, about 5-foot 8-inches, is 220 pounds with a stocky build, has about a day or two’s worth of facial growth and was wearing a flannel jacket at the time of the attack.
