Nora M. (Enright) Dupraz, 89, beloved wife of the late Lawrence L. Dupraz, formerly of Princeton, New Jersey, died on Sunday afternoon, October 26, 2008, at the Beverly Hospital, Beverly, MA.
She was born in Princeton, New Jersey on August 31, 1919, daughter of the late William H. and Nora M. (Goodwin) Enright. Nora had resided in Princeton, NJ until 2007. She attended St. Paul’s School, Princeton High School and graduated with a BS from Rider University.
She was employed by Opinion Research and Princeton University.
Nora was an active community volunteer and former president of the St. Paul’s School PTA. For decades, she and her husband hosted the annual Daily Princetonian reunion. She was affectionately called “information central” as she and Lawrence kept in touch with 50 years of Daily Princetonian Alumni.
She and her husband traveled to Ireland, England and France but she most enjoyed yearly trips to Captiva, Florida with her grandchildren and visits to Rockport, MA.
Nora is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Claudia S. (Dupraz) Greely and John W. Greely of Rockport, MA and Bethel, ME; four grandsons, Sean M. Greely and his wife Marion of Baltimore, MD, Matthew L. Greely of Providence, RI, Andrew J. Greely and Timothy G. Greely, both of Rockport, MA; and several cousins, nieces and nephews including Kay Broglie of Bloomingdale, NJ, Winnie Stavros of Northvale, NJ and Carolyn Hofmeister of South Barrington, IL. She also leaves a dear childhood friend, Katharine Higgins. In addition to her husband, she was pre-deceased by a sister, Mary Ellen Cashel.
Her funeral will be held from the Kimble Funeral Home, 1 Hamilton Avenue, Princeton, NJ., on Friday morning, Oct. 31. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Paul’s Church, 214 Nassau Street, Princeton, NJ at 11 am.
A visiting hour will precede the Mass from 9:30 to 10:30 am in the Kimble Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are cordially invited.
The burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Princeton, NJ.
