Howard C. Zumbrun

   Howard C. Zumbrun, 100, of Lawrenceville, died Sunday at Capital Health System at Mercer. Born in Paterson, he was former owner and operator of the Hillcrest Bakery in Totowa. He also resided in Titusville for many years.
   Son of the late Gustav and Martha Gould Zumbrun, husband of the late Evelyn K. Hirz and brother of the late Norman Zumbrun, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Howard D. and Joyce C. Zumbrun of Washington Crossing, Pa.; a sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor and Arnold Daly of Binghamton, N.Y.; two grandchildren, David D. and his wife Cynthia Zumbrun of Marlton, and Daniel S. and his wife Katie Yifan Xu Zumbrun of Beijing, China; three great-grandchildren, Melissa, Danielle and Eden; a nephew, Alan and a niece, Lorraine.
   Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, Pennington Circle, with the Rev. John C. Belmont, rector of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Pennington, officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
   Friends may call today (Thursday) from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
