Jeanie Powell
WEST AMWELL — Jeanie C. Powell, 69, of West Amwell died Saturday, Oct. 18, in Princeton University Medical Center.
Born in Chattanooga, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late James and Pearl Posey Campbell.
A graduate of Davis and Elkins College in West Virginia, she retired from teaching at West Amwell Elementary School in 2005.
She received the Governor’s Teacher Recognition Award in 1987 and 2005.
She was a member of the New Jersey Education Association and AARP.
Surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth Robinson, of West Amwell; a son, Jason Powell of London; two grandchildren, Lukas Robinson and Kate Robinson; two sisters, Wanda Campbell of Mont Laurier, Canada, and Laila Millar of San Jose, Calif.; and a brother, Malcolm Campbell of Berkeley, Calif.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Sand Brook Church in Sand Brook, N.J. Burial was in Sand Brook Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington.

Frances Conti
WEST TRENTON — Frances M. Conti, 84, died Sunday, Oct. 19, at Capital Health Systems at Mercer in Trenton.
Born in Brooklyn, she grew up and worked on the family farm in West Amwell.
During World War II, she worked for General Motors in the parts department and later for the State of New Jersey and Dunham’s. She also was the proprietor of Conti’s Restaurant on Olden Avenue in Ewing for 10 years.
Ms. Conti was a parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in West Trenton.
She was the daughter of the late Giovanni “John” and Marietta Latino Corsalo and mother of the late Steven Conti.
Surviving are two sons, Sal Conti of North Glenn, Colo., and John Joseph Conti of Ewing; four grandchildren, Steven Jacob, Ilana Marie, Joseph and Angelo Conti; her brother, Ignatius Corsalo of Lambertville; her niece, Maryann and her husband, Kevin McCloughan, of Ewing; her great-niece, Brenna McCloughan; and other family.
The funeral was held Oct. 23 from the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, Ewing. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at the church. Burial was in Harbourton Cemetery.
Barbara Mulryne
LAWRENCEVILLE — Barbara G. Mulryne, 65, of Lawrence Township died Friday, Oct. 17, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton.
Born in Flemington, she was the daughter of the late Mary Marshall Miller and Alton Miller of West Amwell Township.
She had resided in Lawrenceville for more than 25 years.
She was a business school graduate and an accountant for Roller Bearing Inc. in Ewing for more than 30 years.
Surviving besides her father are her husband, William P. Mulryne; two sons, Vincent of Lawrenceville and William, Jr. of Metuchen, N.J.; a daughter, Diana M. Astbury of Ewing; two brothers, John of West Amwell and Jim of Hopewell; two sisters, Mary Lou Theriault and Sandra Miller, both of Hopewell; four grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington.
