Resident endorses Republican candidates

To the editor:
Local government is in your face government – of the people – for the people and by the people. If you have a difference of opinion you have the right and duty to express it. Heaven knows I have.
This year we have the opportunity to elect three good public servants – Mayor Bruce Hill is an unsung hero in Bordentown Township – Bruce gets things done that impact our daily lives – no grandstanding.
Next time you cross the rail track on Groveville Road, say “Thank you Bruce!” He also worked with the NJ Department of Transportation to enhance the township with multiple plantings along the highways. Bruce Hill is a stand up guy who will listen to all citizens.
Anita DiMattia will bring a strong voice to Bordentown Township. She is an energetic, active member of our community – Anita has lived here longer then any one else running – she has a grasp on the issues that face Bordentown Township and is willing to work to build a strong community.
Rob Delaney has come a long way since he was first elected. I believe he understands that his job on the Township Committee is to work with the residents of Bordentown Township to create a community that provides for the needs of its citizens. Rob deserves to be re-elect.
Bordentown Township is a unique place to live – we are strategically located, have great community spirit and are fortunate to have smart, educated and interested committee members who will work with us.
I urge you to vote for the Republican Ticket – Hill, Delaney and DiMattia.
