Obama’s tactics of intimidation

As we get to the end of this political campaign, it is clear that the Democratic Party has engaged in intimidation to ensure that no one challenges their candidate or publicly supports the Republican candidate.
The story of Joe the Plumber is a clear example. Here is a man who asked a simple question on taxes and got a straight answer. However the answer was too straight and caused people to listen to more than the typical campaign talking points. This led to a real insight into Sen. Obama’s tax policies. This was a political spin disaster and had to be stopped by any means. The immediate effort was to investigate, trash, ridicule and attempt to destroy this man.
I applaud Joe the Plumber’s question and his desire to work, invest and build a more prosperous life for he and his son.
However, we should all be warned of the tactics of the Democratic Party. If we elect Sen. Obama, we should expect that any critics will be dealt with, as viciously as was Joe the Plumber.
