Police blotter

   A Chatham resident reported damaged to her vehicle while parked in front of Pure Go-Go Lounge on South Street between 11:30 p.m. Oct. 19 and 6 a.m. Oct. 20.
   Police confirmed that an unknown object damaged the windshield on a 1999 Toyota. Repairs were estimated at $150.
   At 6:24 p.m. Oct. 21, a West Camplain Road resident reported that a neighbor’s vehicle was missing from the neighbor’s residence. The caller said that the owner was currently in the hospital, and had not given anyone permission to move the car.
   Police entered the four-door Chevy Impala in the National Crime Information Center database. No other description of the vehicle was available.
   Maurice Ray, 46, of South Bound Brook, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Oct. 23, after being stopped on Wilhousky Street.
   Police reported stopping Mr. Ray at 2:18 a.m., after observing the Mr. Ray’s car cross the center line.
   Mr. Ray was released pending a court date.
   Lashonda Turner, 27, and Colleen Gadson, 30, both of Bound Brook, were charged with shoplifting following an Oct. 23 incident at the A&P on North Main Street.
   Police said that a store employee reported the theft at 1:20 p.m. that day, with grocery items valued at $79.79 being taken.
   Ms. Turner and Ms. Gadson were released pending an appearance in Municipal Court.
   At 7:42 a.m. Oct. 25, a Huff Avenue resident reported damage to the front window on his house and the window on his motor vehicle. Police said a rock damaged the window pane on the house, but did not identify the cause of the vehicle damage.
   The damage is estimated at $300 total, and an investigation is ongoing.
   Kianna Dennis, 22, of West Camplain Road, was charged with failure to stop or yield after an Oct. 25 motor vehicle crash on West Camplain road.
   Police reported a two-car accident at 2:38 p.m. that day, with reports of an injured and unconscious female.
   Ms. Dennis, and two children in her vehicle — a 2-year-old and a 4-month-old infant who weren’t identified — were transported to Somerset Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries.
