FLORENCE — Robert L. Fiscor, Sr., 68, died Oct. 20 at home. Born in Mount Olive, Ill., he was a lifelong Roebling resident. Mr. Fiscor retired two years ago as a project manager for the Irvine Construction Co. in Conshohocken, Pa. In his earlier years he was self-employed, operating R&R Builders. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis and was a member of Holy Assumption Church and the Roebling American Legion, Post 39. Some of his interests included fishing and boating, woodworking and building fish ponds.
Father of the late Lisa Fiscor, he is survived by his wife, Shirley Jobes Fiscor; a son, Robert L. “Robbie” Fiscor, Jr. and wife, Donna of Roebling, and a daughter, Denise Baiamonte and husband, Frank, of Arizona. Also five grandchildren, Jayson Baiamonte, Kevin Fiscor, Frank Baiamonte, Robert Fiscor III and Nicole Fiscor and a great-granddaughter, Allison Baiamonte.
The funeral was Monday at the Dennison Funeral Home. Interment was in the Holy Assumption Cemetery, Roebling. Memorial contributions may be sent to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr. Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
