Sebastian DeFelice

FLORENCE — Sebastian (Sam) DeFelice, 67, of Florence, died Oct. 20 at his daughter’s home in Shamong.
    Born in Philadelphia, he was a lifelong resident of Florence. He retired 10 months ago as a barber at the Fort Dix military base after 20 years of service. Prior to that he worked as a barket at the Old King’s department store in Edgewater Park. Some of his interests included playing billiards, playing cards, the piano and going to casinos in Atlantic City.
    Son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Campana DeFelice, stepson of the late Harry Conda, and brother of the late Francis (Butchie) DeFelice, he is survived by three daughters, Stacey (and Paul) Cerak of Lumberton, Michelle DeFelice (and Dave Kensinger) of Shamong and Amy (and Kurt) Gress of Tumwater, Wash., and a son, Michael DeFelice of Mount Laurel. Also a brother, Joseph DeFelice of Camden, four grandchildren: Kiley, Isabella, Emma and Benjamin, a niece and many cousins and dear friends.
    The funeral was held Friday at the Dennison Funeral Home. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery, Florence. Memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton NJ 08053.
