Wal-Mart sent back to drawing board

EAST WINDSOR – The Planning Board recently reviewed a request for a new sign on the Route 130 side of Wal-Mart on Route 130, and found the presentation lacking.
During the Oct. 21 meeting, Wal-Mart attorney Mark Soloman and store manager Allen Mcwethy were making changes to a diagram of where the proposed sign would go, and could not provide to the board such details as the focal length of a camera used to take exterior photos of the building that were entered as evidence.
”If you can’t get your drawing correct, I can only wonder,” said board chairman Edward Kelley, who told Mr. Soloman to redo the drawings and send new application notices to neighbors “when you get your act together.”
Wal-Mart officials want the sign for better visibility along Route 130.
