William Weimer Baker, 81, died Sunday, Oct. 26.
He was born April 1, 1927 to the late William H. and Maude (Weimer) Baker, in Deans. Mr. Baker graduated from Jamesburg High School in 1944 and continued his schooling at the Peddie School in Lawrenceville. He attended Rutgers University as an engineering student after serving in the United States Army. While in the Army, he received the Army of Occupation Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. He retired as a civil engineer and land surveyor from Somerset County Roads Department, in Somerville. Mr. Baker was a kind and loving man who loved to go boating, fishing and camping. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his sister, Lauretta M. Baker recently of Indianapolis; his daughters, Kimberley A.B. Motsek of Collegeville, Pa., and Heather Klick, of Indianapolis, Ind.; and grandchildren, Alan Klick, Brian Klick, and David Motsek.
