Two more second-round matchups on tap
Former lacrosse and football standout Jim Laverty narrowly edged former track and cross country star Royce Flippin to advance to the quarterfinals of the Princeton High’s Greatest Athlete Contest. Laverty finished with 55 percent of the vote. In the other mathcup, former basketball and football standout Darius Young secured 76 perent of the vote to advance against former three-sport star Tim Rumer.
Two more quarterfinal matchups are now being voted on. In one matchup, former multi-sport star Missy McCloskey (Bruvik) is taking on former football and basketball star Kirk Webber. In the other, track star Stephan Fletcher us facing basketball star Bram Reynolds.
