Princeton Borough 
   Princeton University’s Department of Public Safety issued a campus safety alert Saturday after Wei Ho, a class of 2009 computer science concentrator, was reported missing.
   He was last seen on campus at 4:30 a.m. Friday. The public safety alert stated that “there is a concern for Wei Ho’s welfare.”
   He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, jeans and white sneakers. Anyone with information regarding Mr. Ho’s whereabouts is urged to call 609-258-3705.
   Edward Holcombe, 44, of West Windsor was charged with driving while intoxicated after his car was stopped on Washington Road about 2:25 a.m. Friday.
   Thomas Chepiga, 51, of Ewing was charged with driving while intoxicated after his car was stopped on Stockton Street about 3:56 p.m. Thursday.
   Terika Volmar, 22, of Newark was charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on Nassau Street about 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Warren Township Municipal Court had issued a $250 warrant for her arrest, police said. She was released after posting bail.
Princeton Township 
   An unattended candle in a residence at David Brearley Court caused a fire and smoke condition Sunday about 2:40 p.m., police reported. A neighbor called 911 reporting a heavy smoke condition at the residence and police, the Princeton Fire Department, and Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad responded. Police said they arrived to see the homeowner emerge from the smoke-filled residence. The resident was able to extinguish the fire with a fire extinguisher kept inside the house, police said. The candle ignited the wall and furniture in the bedroom police said. The home also sustained minor smoke and water damage, according to the report.
West Windsor
   Kevin Dobes, 19, of Delran was charged Oct. 28 with underage driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and disregarding a red light. Mr. Dobes drove his car through a red light and struck a center barrier of northbound Route 1 at westbound Washington Road around 1 a.m., police said.
   Angel Andino, 47, of Hightstown was charged Wednesday evening with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, false identification, driving while suspended, being an unlicensed driver, and having an open container of an alcoholic beverage in his car. Mr. Andino was arrested at the intersection of Clarksville Road and Meadow Road after he was observed by police driving in a reckless manner, according to the report.
   David Cartagena-Rodriguez, 39, of Trenton was charged with driving while intoxicated and issued a summons for obstructing traffic and reckless driving early Friday morning at southbound Route 1 at Nassau Park Boulevard. Police said they observed his Honda Civic stopped in the road and asked that he pull over to the shoulder. Mr. Cartagena-Rodriguez was arrested after he failed a field sobriety test, police said.
   Jean Joseph, 28, of Asbury Park was charged with receiving stolen property at southbound Route 1 and Emmons Drive on Saturday night. Police arrested Mr. Joseph after he was found in a tractor-trailer that had been reported stolen from Cheektowaga, N.Y.
   A 17-year-old from West Windsor was charged Thursday with shoplifting from the Target at Nassau Park shopping center. He cut open two video games from the plastic packaging, hid them in his sweatshirt, and exited the store, police said. Store personnel detained him until police arrived. He was processed at police headquarters and turned over to a parent.
   Charles Oliver, 31, of Trenton was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, failure to maintain a lane, and driving while suspended early Sunday morning at northbound Route 1 at Alexander Road. Mr. Oliver failed a field sobriety test given after his car was observed weaving, police said.
Plainsboro 
   Carolos Galicia-Crespin, 43, of Plainfield was charged with driving while intoxicated after police said they found his vehicle parked on the southbound shoulder of Route 1 near College Road West about 2 a.m. Sunday. Mr. Galicia-Crespin had an opened can of beer inside and four unopened cans and an investigation revealed he was intoxicated, police said. He was also charged with reckless driving, consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle, possession of an open alcohol container, and having a cracked windshield and improper left mirror.
   A Hamilton Lane South resident reported the theft of a campaign lawn sign for Barack Obama, valued at $8.75, from the front lawn between 11 a.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday.
   A wallet, driver license, debit card, and cell phone were stolen from a locker in the West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South football locker room after a locker was broken into between 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
   James M. Roach, 31, of Maywood was charged with driving while intoxicated after police said they stopped his 2005 PT Cruiser after it ran through a stop sign on Ravens Crest Drive about 1 a.m. Sunday, police reported, nearly colliding with the police car. He was also charged with failure to stop and reckless driving.
   Patrick S. Peterkin, 24, of Deer Creek Drive was charged with receiving stolen property Thursday after police said they received a report from East Windsor police of a theft from a ShopRite supermarket. Based on a description of a 1991 white Honda, police said they saw a car fitting that description at Centers Drive and stopped it. Police said Mr. Peterkin had two packs of cigarettes valued at $12 that were stolen from the ShopRite.
   Kimberly Haggerty, 51, of Quail Ridge Drive was charged with aggravated assault, eluding police and resisting arrest following a motor vehicle stop on Quail Ridge Drive about 10 p.m. Wednesday. Police said Ms. Haggerty attempted to elude an officer by striking him with her vehicle on Cranbury Neck Road. A pursuit ensued which ended on Quail Ridge Drive, according to the report. She was also charged with careless driving, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to comply with an officer’s direction, having an expired driver license, failure to inspect and refusal to inspect.
