MANSFIELD — Charlotte Ingling, 62, of Columbus died Friday at home. Born in Florence, she was a lifelong Columbus resident. She was a homemaker but had formerly worked as a clerk in the accounts payable department at the Burlington Coat Factory. Prior to this she was the proprietor of the Homestead Deli. Some of her interests included sewing, arts and crafts, embroidering, making leaded glass mementos and collecting angels and anything with pansies on it, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Daughter of the late Charles and Sarah Emma (Berry) Walder, and sister of the late Charles Walder, Joseph Walder, Darlene Royce and Louris Walder, she is survived by her husband, Earl K. Ingling and four children, Kimberly (Eileen) Ingling of Delran, Michelle (Sean) Gable, Megan Ingling and Earl (Allena) Ingling Jr., all of Columbus. Also her three sisters, Marion (Robert) Reeves of Columbus, Beatrice (Kenneth) Griffis of Florida, and Beverly (Barry) Rasmussen, also of Columbus and her two brothers, Ronald (Cermella) Walder of Cedarvilla and Thomas Walder of Lenoir, N.C.
In addition, her five grandchildren: Tyler, Shayne and Kelsey Ingling, Miranda Gable and Nathaniel Wojnar, and many nieces and nephews; cousins, three aunts and an uncle, also several brothers and sisters-in-law on the Ingling side of the family.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Dennison Funeral Home, 214 W. Front St., Florence. Interment was in the Columbus Cemetery.
