Nicholas M. Marinelli

    Nicholas M. Marinelli, 90, of Yardville, died Oct. 29 at home. Born in Plainsboro, he was a resident of the Yardville area for 50 years.
    A World War II Army veteran, he retired from Champale Brewery in Trenton after 39 years employment. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. An avid gardener, he enjoyed tending his tomato and vegetable garden as well as trips to the local orchard for apple and peach picking. Jarring his special hot peppers was an annual ritual and he was always sure to share a jar with friends and acquaintances. He also enjoyed grocery shopping and finding weekly deals. He was often seen in the neighborhood walking his dog, Molly, who was always by his side.
    Son of the late Vincenzo and Irene Marinelli and stepson of the late Carmela Marinelli and brother of the late Morris and Elena Marinelli, he was predeceased by his wife, L. Arlene Marinelli; he is survived by his daughters, Sharon Amantia and her special friend, Keith Whitaker of Yardville and Donna Fontanazzi and her husband, Joseph of Bordentown as well as many nieces, nephews and friends
    Funeral services were held Monday at the Pepper Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Interment followed in Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 North Third St., Philadelphia, PA, 19123-4101.
