Bruce Taylor
UPPER FREEHOLD — Bruce D. Taylor died Oct. 28 at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. He was 72.
Born and raised in Robbinsville, Mr. Taylor was a resident of Hamilton Township for 23 years before moving to Upper Freehold one year ago.
He was a graduate of Princeton High School, class of 1954, and retired from Coleman’s Hamilton Supply Company in 1999 after 37 years.
In his youth, Mr. Taylor was active in the FFA and 4H Club, an honorary member of The Mercerville Fire Co. and the VFW Hamilton Post No. 3525 and a member of the 112th Field Artillery National Guard and the Delaware Valley Old Time Equipment. He enjoyed woodworking, repairing, restoring and displaying his collection of John Deere tractors, and meeting with his friend George for coffee at Dunkin Donuts.
Predeceased by his parents, R. Duane and Helen Taylor, his sister, Brenda Randall, his brother, Bradford Taylor and his brother-in-law, William Phillips, he is survived by his best friend and wife of 20 years, Judy; his children, Jeffrey Taylor and his wife Marie, of Warrenton, Va., and James Taylor and his wife Michelle, of Hamilton; his stepchildren, James and Heidi Ridgway, Diane and Glen Phillips, and Kathleen and Alan Newman; his sisters, Beverly Souders and her husband James of West Windsor, Bertha Phillips, of St. Peters, Pa., and Bonnie Smith of Lawrence; his brothers, Barry Taylor and his wife Deborah, of Hopewell Township, and Byron Taylor and Carole Thompson, of Plumsted; his brother-in-law, James Randall of Ohio; a sister-in-law, Judith Taylor of Hopewell and her friend Ralph Walker; 11 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held Saturday. Interment was in Dutch Neck Cemetery.

Howard Grudin
FORT MEYERS, Fla. — Howard Stanley Grudin, formerly of Roosevelt, died Oct. 24.
A former fire chief in Roosevelt, he is survived by son Jason Grudin of Wellington, Fla.; daughters Wendy Lee Kuprian of Cape Coral, Fla. and Rachel Lee Schwartz of Wake Forest, N.C.; and grandchildren Michael Kuprian of Cape Coral, Fla., Raven Grudin of Wellington, Fla. and Ilene Stephanie Schwartz of Raleigh, N.C.
Funeral arrangements were handled by the Fort Meyers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery, Fort Meyers, Fla.
