Jonny Camera, 24, of Piscataway, was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a breath test, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident, reckless driving and failure to stop for a red light, after police stopped the car he was driving following a hit-and-run accident on Route 206 at 10:58 p.m. Oct. 21.
According to police, Mr. Camera made a left turn through a red light from Andria Avenue to Route 206, and collided with another vehicle before driving away. Police said they found the front bumper of Mr. Camera’s vehicle near the intersection, and later matched it to the vehicle when he passed the scene of the accident with his passenger headlight out.
Mr. Camera was taken into custody after he failed several field sobriety tests.
Mr. Camera was processed and released to the custody of his father. His court date is set for 3 p.m. Nov. 18.
Joshua Glincman, 28, of Oxford Place, was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a breath test, suspended driver’s license and failure to keep right after he was pulled over for swerving over the double yellow lines on Route 206 at 1:15 a.m. Oct. 24.
Mr. Glincman was taken into custody after he failed field sobriety tests.
At police headquarters, Mr. Glincman was found to have a $1,000 warrant issued by the South Bound Brook Municipal Court. Mr. Glincman was turned over to the South Bound Brook police, and was transported to Somerset County Jail.
