EBDC given trust account
The Township Committee unanimously approved a resolution Oct. 28 to establish a trust account for the Economic and Business Development Committee (EBDC) to hold funds that can be used for the printing of materials and other costs incurred by the organization for promoting new business development.
According to Mayor Anthony Ferrera, the account was recommended by Township Business Advocate Gene Strupinsky as a place to hold contributions made to the organization.
”This would be a good place to keep track of the contributions,” Mayor Ferrera said.
Fence contract approved
To prevent illegal use of the trash and recycling bins at the municipal building, the Township Committee unanimously approved a resolution to authorize the execution of a contract with York Fence Construction Co., Inc., in Hillsborough, to build a fence around the bins.
The contract is for an amount not to exceed $6,745.
”The fencing will be to secure the area,” Mayor Anthony Ferrera said.
Hydrants OK’d at industrial park
The Township Committee unanimously approved a resolution to install four new fire hydrants as part of the Terrace Industrial Park Project on Park and Weston roads.
