A post-election poem

Ted Peck of West Windsor
Here is a poem I wrote, based on the lead article in the Nov. 7 edition of The Princeton Packet. Please note the message spelled out by the initial letters of each line.
On Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, the
   Black people of Princeton celebrated!
A special sense of joy prevailed, for the man whose
Message said, “I represent change. I happen to be
   African-American. I represent all people.”
Elation! Now, my children, the sky is the
Limit to what you can achieve! I’ve never
Experienced anything like this. It’s the beginning of that
   Change we can believe in!
Thank God, at last we’ve elected someone who will
   Enlist people of all races—
Democrats and Republicans— to work for a better tomorrow.
