Margaret E. Eells

FLORENCE — Margaret E. Eells (nee Bowker), of Florence, died Sunday at Samaritan Inpatient Hospice in Mount Holly. Born in Burlington, she was a lifelong Florence resident. She retired as a sales clerk at Boscov’s department store in Willingboro and later Moorestown after a total of 37 years of service.
    She was a longtime member of the Providence Presbyterian Church of Bustleton in Florence and a member of the 1492 Camping Club of Columbus. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan and a Phillies fan and supported all of the Florence teams. Her biggest joy was spending time with her two grandchildren, Jennifer Maguire and Katleyn Eells.
    Wife of the late Donald H. Eells Sr., daughter of the late Charles and Mary McFarland Bowker and sister of the late Carol Fine, she is survived by her daughter, Susan Maguire of Roebling and her sons, Donald H. Eells and Stephen (and Terri) Eells, all of Florence; also her sister, Patricia (and Ron) Stokeley of Eastampton and her brother, Charles “Bob” (and Kathy) Bowker and Harry Bowker of Burlington City. She was also the sister-in-law of Mildred and Boyd Reeder and the late Ruth and Jim Anilosky.
    Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, at 11 a.m. at the Dennison Funeral Home, 214 W. Front St., Florence. Officiating will be the Rev. Ivo Meilands. Friends may call Thursday morning from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
