The Robbinsville High School girls’ soccer team opened play in the Central Jersey Group I playoffs with a 5-0 win over Point Pleasant Beach this past Tuesday.
Robbinsville dominated on total shots, 21-6, and scored two goals in the first half and three more in the second half to pull away for the easy win. Mary Jane Seiler only had to make three saves in goal to record the shutout for Robbinsville.
Amanda Douglass scored two goals. Carina Fleming, Laura Greb and Nicole Sandusky scored one each. Fleming had two assists. Jen Bryan, Gavy Kaplan and Jen Bryan also had assists.
Robbinsville will host David Brearley this Friday for the Central Jersey title.
