Mr. Marko, 85, of Little Silver, died Nov. 6, 2008. He was employed at Bell Laboratories, and AT&T, Holmdel, retiring in 1989 as MTS supervisor after 48 years. He was also employed as a draftsman at Western Electric, New York City. During retirement, he was office manager at Test Software Systems Inc., Little Silver, for eight years. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He is survived by his wife, Theresa, of Little Silver; two daughters and sonsin law, Joyce and Timothy Ory of Naperville, Ill., and Lynda and Thomas Edson of the Oakhurst section of Ocean Township; a son, John Jr. of Little Silver; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Luther Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tinton Falls. Arrangements were by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank.
