The Pennington Day Grants Committee and the board of trustees would like to invite the public to Pennington Day’s annual grants award ceremony, on Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m. at Borough Hall in Pennington. Light refreshments will be served. This year’s grant recipients and what they are receiving the funds for are: The Pennington Players (equipment storage), Hopewell Valley Lions Club (annual dinner), Real Food for Thought (pilot school garden), Shelterwood 4-H of Mercer County (stand for animals), Animal Allies (spraying/neutering), Hopewell Township Youth Board (offset cost of dance), and FISH (meals for senior citizens). This annual ceremony is Pennington Day’s way of giving back to the community and is an annual tradition. Pennington Day, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
