EAST BRUNSWICK — Police have identified the man found dead recently at the Neilson parking deck as 26-year-old Peter Farrell, of South Brunswick.
Police said he jumped to his death from the top of the six-story structure on Oct. 30. Foul play was ruled out in the death. East Brunswick Police Sgt. Paul Natalicchio said a suicide note was found in Farrell’s pocket.
Police were called to the township-owned commuter-parking garage in the Tower Center at 1:32 p.m. that day for a report of an unconscious man at the north corner of the building near the exit driveway. Farrell was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no known witnesses to the incident.
The parking garage was reportedly the site of a similar death several years ago.
