Tickets are on sale now at the East Brunswick Public Library for two shows in November featuring award-winning storyteller Willy Claflin, the featured performer at the East Brunswick Friends of The Library’s Sixteenth Annual James Hess Folklore and Storytelling Festival.
Accompanied by his sidekick Maynard Moose, Claflin has been a headliner for many years at the National Storytelling Festival in Jonseborough, Tenn., has released nine award-winning recordings, and has been the recipient of numerous storytelling awards.
Nov. 22 is the adult program, Pegamoose and the Gorgonzola Medusa, starting at 7:30 p.m. Cost is $15 and includes dessert buffet.
The family program, Willy Claflin & Friends, is 2 p.m. Nov. 23. Tickets are $3 each, with a maximum $7 per family.
Sponsorships for individuals or families are available at $60 and include preferred seating for two to the Saturday performance, family admission for Sunday, and a listing in the souvenir program. Business sponsorships are $100 and carry the same benefits. Mail order tickets will be held at the door unless specifically requested to be mailed, which requires an extra $1 for postage and handling. All checks should be payable to E.B.
