POLICE BLOTTER, Nov. 14

Princeton Borough 
   Lakiesha Covington, 21, of Trenton was arrested for having an outstanding warrant out of Mansfield in the amount of $1,000 following a traffic stop on Witherspoon Street at 9:09 a.m. Nov. 7, police said.
   Cameron Heggi, 22, of Witherspoon Street was charged with receiving stolen property after police found several stolen street signs in his home at 10:15 a.m. Nov. 7, police said.
   William Stackpole, 48, of Lawrence was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Rosedale Road at 1:59 a.m. Saturday, police said.
   Phillip Boone, 44, of Newark was arrested for having an outstanding warrant in the amount of $120 out of Orange following a traffic stop on Harrison Street at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, police said.
   Garry Mitchell, 41, of Trenton was charged with hindering apprehension following a motor vehicle stop on Bayard Lane at 7:50 a.m. Monday. Police said Mr. Mitchell gave several false names to the arresting officer, who later determined Mr. Mitchell’s license was suspended.
   Cynthia Mitchell, 54, of Trenton was arrested for having an outstanding warrant in the amount of $185 out of Trenton following a motor vehicle stop on Stockton Street at 9:18 p.m. Monday, police said.
   William Spears, 28, of South Amboy was arrested for having an outstanding warrant in the amount of $7,000 out of Newark following a motor vehicle stop on College Road at 11:30 a.m. Monday, police said.
   Jehaciel Ramirez, 20, of Hamilton was arrested for having an outstanding warrant in the amount of $264 out of Princeton Borough following a motor vehicle stop on Witherspoon Street at 3:35 p.m. Tuesday, police said.
Princeton Township 
   A fire damaged the upstairs of a Ross Stevenson Circle residence, police reported Wednesday. Police said an alarm came in about 5:33 p.m. and the arriving patrol reported flames and smoke coming from the second story. The family was downstairs when strange noises were heard and the second level and discovered to be full of smoke, police said. A family member called 911 and they evacuated the house and were not injured, police said. The Princeton Fire Department was joined at the scene by Plainsboro and Rocky Hill fire departments, Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad and Trenton Emergency Medical Services. The cause of the fire is unknown, police said Thursday and the investigation is continuing.
Montgomery 
       Three abandoned buildings in Skillman Village were entered sometime in October, police reported. All of the buildings had pieces of plywood pried off allowing access to the interior. Nothing was found to be disturbed inside. Repair costs to secure the buildings were estimated at $100.
   A Rider Terrace resident reported his home was entered sometime during the night of Oct. 30 through an unlocked rear door. Jewelry and cash valued at $6,800 was reported missing.
   Marilyn Gonzalez, 31, of Edison was charged with careless driving following a three-car collision on Route 206 near Wall Street about 1:50 p.m. Oct. 31. Police said Ms. Gonzalez, northbound in a 2007 Nissan, reached into the glove box to retrieve a cell phone and did not see traffic stopped in front of her. Her car struck a 2000 Jeep driven by Benjamin Sandborg, 33 of Raritan. The force of the impact drove the Jeep into the rear of a 2007 Mercedes driven by William Garrymore, 46, of Montgomery. There were no injuries, police said.
   A River Birch Circle resident reported about 9:30 p.m. Oct. 31 that the front window screen was torn between Oct. 30 and 31. There was no attempted entry to the residence. Damage was estimated at $50.
   A Hastings Road resident reported the morning of Nov. 1 that his home was entered overnight. Police said the overhead garage doors were accidentally left open, allowing the thief to enter the house. Taken was a laptop computer, cash and credit cards with a total value of $1,600.
   Several rural mailboxes were damaged in the area of Ketcham Road police reported the evening of Nov. 6. Two residents reported finding their mailboxes uprooted and thrown across the street. Police said they located another mailbox on a walking path and found three others that had been spray-painted. Cost to repair and replace the mailboxes was estimated at $450.
   A two-car collision was reported 7:35 a.m. Nov. 3 at the intersection of Route 206 and 601. Police said John Seeley III, 54, of Montgomery was northbound on Route 206 in a 1999 Dodge Dakota pickup truck and Margaret Strotz, 61, of Glen Gardner was northbound on Route 601 in a 1999 Toyota Camry. Mr. Seeley attempted a left turn onto Route 601 when his truck collided with the Camry, according to the report. There were no injuries and both cars were driven from the scene.
West Windsor 
   An incident of armed robbery and aggravated assault occurred Thursday night at a business on Princeton Hightstown Road, according to police.
   Two men entered Princeton Junction Body Works Massage about 9:30 p.m. and approached two masseuses, asking for a massage, Sgt. Brian Melnick said. One of two men then pulled out a handgun and demanded cash. When the masseuses didn’t understand his demand, the man holding the gun beat the women about the face and head with the hand holding the weapon, Sgt. Melnick said.
   The men then fled out the front of the store toward the Acme supermarket in a dark-colored sedan. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken. Descriptions of the men were vague.
   Both masseuses were treated at the scene for their injuries but did not seek further medical attention.
