Joseph M. Lesniewski

   Joseph M. Lesniewski, 71, died Friday at Capital Health System, Mercer Campus, Trenton.
   Born in Staten Island, N.Y., Mr. Lesniewski has been a resident of Hopewell for many years.
   He was educated at St. Peter’s High School and Wagner College in Staten Island and worked as a polymer chemist for companies such as Exxon, Montsonto, and Albemarle Corp.
   A 4th degree knight with the Knights of Columbus Council #7103, he was past grand knight, past president of the Fire Retardant Chemical Association, a former member of the Twin W First Aid Squad, and a former Cub Scout leader and Little League coach.
   Preceded in death by his parents Anna and Jacob Lesniewski and a brother Jacob, he is survived by his wife Carole Lesniewski; children Karen Lesniewski, Joseph Lesniewski and his wife Gina, John Lesniewski, Scott Lesniewski and his wife Nancy, Eric Lesniewski and his fiancée Karen Mondale, Matthew Lesniewski and his wife Heather, Michael Lesniewski and his wife Pamela Gladu-Lesniewski and Jean-Anne Lesniewski; as brother Peter Lesniewski and his wife Linn of Chicago; grandchildren Joseph, Jacob, Daniel, Maria, David, and Gaelen Lesniewski and Dylan, Gina, and Tatianna Gladu-Lesniewski; and several nieces and nephews.
   Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Cromwell-Immordino Memorial Home, 71 E. Prospect St., Hopewell.
   Funeral and interment services will be held privately.
