Nicholas J. DiLullo

FLORENCE — Nicholas J. DiLullo, 86, of Florence died Friday at the Lutheran Care Center in Moorestown.  Born in Bristol, Pa., he was a lifelong Florence resident.  He retired in 1974 from John A. Roebling Co. (CF&I Corp.) after nearly 40 years of service.
    He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Florence American Legion Post 194 for 63 years.  He was a member of the Florence Yacht Club, the Florence Historical Society, the Florence Garden Club and the National Geographic Association.  He was a former recipient of the Citizen of the Year by the Florence Civic Association.  For many years he enjoyed attending Florence Township Council meetings and was affectionately dubbed the “Town Watchman.”
    Son of the late Domiano and Theresa Monaco DiLullo, brother of the late Edith DiLullo and Carmella Grotheim and husband of the late Rose Terrachone DiLullo, he is survived by a sister, Loretta DiLullo of Florence and three nieces, Jerri (and Joseph) Cipriano of Pembroke Pines, Fla., Jackie (and John) Matheny of McLean, Ca. And Joan Fabitore of Melbourne, Fla. And their families.  He was also godfather of Angela Petrona and the late Keith Cipriano.
    The funeral will be held Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 11 a.m. at the Dennison Funeral Home, 214 W. Front St., Florence.  Relatives and friends may call Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
