Mr. Cusworth was born in Worcester, Mass., and had lived in Philadelphia, PA, before moving to Freehold 64 years ago. He was a member and Lay Leader with the Jerseyville United Methodist Church, Howell, NJ. Mr. Cusworth was a Member and Past Master of the Olive Branch Masonic Temple and also the Past Patron of the Molly Pitcher Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. He was a member of the Tall Cedars Shrine, Scottish Rite, Trenton, and the B.P.O.E., Freehold, NJ. Mr. Cusworth was a life member of both the V.F.W. and the American Legion, both of Freehold.
He enjoyed golf, chess and singing. Mr. Cusworth was an electrician. He owned and operated Mid-Monmouth Electric Contracting. Prior to that, he worked for Nestle, 3M and the A & M Karagheusian Rug Mill. Mr. Cusworth was also an electrical inspector for a number of municipalities in Monmouth County. He is survivied by his wife of 66 Years: Dorothy Cusworth of Freehold, NJ, 3 Daughters: Donna Hansen of Freehold, NJ, Karen Walzer of Freehold, NJ, Christy Cusworth of Lambertville, NJ, 1 Brother: Charles Cusworth of Salem, Oregon, 1 Sister: Lillian Fox of Boca Raton, Florida, 4 Grandsons: Jonathan & Jason Kim and Eric & Jared Hansen and 1 Great Grandson: Ian Cordova.
Service Information: Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Twp., NJ, on Sunday, November 16, 2008 from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. Friends and relatives are invited to attend his funeral services on Monday, November 17, 2008, at 11:00 AM at the Jerseyville United Methodist Church, Howell Road, Howell Twp., NJ.
