Mayor Jun H. Choi, the Edison Council and the Edison Recreation Department invite the public to a “fowl shoot” to celebrate the Thanksgiving holidays, to take place at 10 a.m. at the Stelton Community Center, 328 Plainfield Ave., Edison. The event is open to all Middlesex County residents.
Pre-registration is necessary for the following categories: elementary school, middle school, high school, adult, and parent/ child. The entrance fee is canned or nonperishable food items as a donation to the needy, which must be brought at the time of registration.
No turkeys will be hurt, since this is a “fowl” basketball shooting competition. For more information, call 732-248-7312 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
