   The Manville High School Parent Teacher Student Association is holding a Wendy’s GeTogether fundraiser to benefit the PTA scholarship fund and Project Graduation from 4-8 p.m. at the Wendy’s Restaurant on Route 206 in Hillsborough.
   During the event, Wendy’s will donate 20 percent of the sales to the MHS PTSA for customers who mention MHS PTSA.

   The MHS PTSA is hosting a PTA Movie Night Live, featuring an exclusive free showing of “Kung Fu Panda” at 7 p.m. in the Manville High School auditorium.
   This movie is free and is sponsored by the National PTA, HP, Dream Works and the Manville High School PTSA. For a donation of $20 for a family of four, you will receive a $20 gift card for the new PTA online video store. There will also be prize drawings.

   Manville High School Class of 1998 will celebrate its 10-year reunion. The reunion will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. this evening at Mia Sorella Restaurant on Main Street in Manville. Looking ahead
   The Manville Recreation Commission will sponsor a Santa Parade at 7 p.m., Tree Lighting Ceremony at 7:30 p.m. and pictures with Santa from 7:45 to 10 p.m. on Dec. 5 (rain date, Dec. 6). The parade will begin at Brooks Boulevard, next to the Police Station, and travel down Main St. to decorated town center area for the tree lighting ceremony, followed by photo’s with Santa. The occasion will include local choirs and marching bands with refreshments being served by the Recreation Commission members. For details, call 722-2656.
   The Best Christmas Pageant Ever will be presented by the Somerset Valley Players from Dec. 5 through Dec. 21 at the theatre, 689 Amwell Rd., Rt. 514 west, Hillsborough. On Friday and Saturday evenings, curtain time is 8 p.m.; Sunday matinees are 3 p.m. All tickets are $10 and may be ordered online at www.svptheatre.orgThe Peter Mayer Group will perform a Holiday Concert “Stars and Promises Alive” Dec. 5, at the United Reformed Church, 100 West Main Street, Somerville. Proceeds benefit the North Branch Reformed Church, the United Reformed Church and Middle Earth.
   VFW 2290 and its Ladies Auxiliary in Manville, located at 600 Washington Ave., will hold its annual Pearl Harbor Remembrance Service at 7 p.m. Dec. 7. The public is encouraged to join the members of the VFW to remember the tragedy and also the soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines who served our country. For more details, call 725-2290.
   Auditions will be held at 7 p.m. Dec. 9 and 10 by Somerset Valley Players for a musical comedy, “Chicken Little.” There are roles for males and females ages 10 through 17 years and a pianist will be provided.
