‘Global Teach-in’ Nov. 20-21 at Brookdale

A “Global Teach-In,” will be held Nov. 20 and 21 at Brookdale Community College, Lincroft section of Middletown. Professors will open their classrooms at the free event during International National EducationWeek, Nov. 17-21.

“Barbarian Hordes or Culture Carriers? The Mongols in World History,” will be presented 1:30-4:15 p.m. Nov. 20 in MAC 208. Professor Laura Neitzel will be the presenter. “Domestic Bliss? An Overview of Marriage and the Family in the USA and Abroad,” will be presented by sociology instructor Caroline Calogero 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Nov. 20 at MAN 202.

Two international dance performances will be 11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m. Nov. 20 at Collins arena. Assistant professor Diditi Mitra will perform “Kathak: A South Asian Classical Dance Performance,” and an Egyptian belly dance will be performed by international student, Yame Bado.
