Steven Walrond and John O’Sullivan, South Brunswick
We would like to extend a sincere thank you to the residents of South Brunswick and our neighboring communities who helped make our South Brunswick Food Pantry fundraiser a true success.
We especially are grateful to the Stop & Shop stores on Route 1 and Route 522 for allowing us to collect for five days in an effort to fill the pantry for the upcoming holiday.
About 65 crates of Thanksgiving groceries in addition to $140 of donations were collected and delivered to the pantry during the weeks of Oct. 27 and Nov. 3.
Your gracious contributions are truly appreciated and because of your generosity this event was a tremendous success.
As these are trying times for many in our area, keeping the pantry fully supplied is an ongoing challenge. Future donations will gladly be accepted. Items that are in limited supply include turkeys, peanut butter, jelly, cereal and baby products. These items and others can be delivered Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. t o the pantry on the lower level of the municipal complex.
Thank you again for donating to this worthy cause.
