Assemblywoman Linda Greenstein (Mercer/Middlesex), North Brunswick, has been named the Indian American Civic Forum’s (IACF) Citizen of the Year. The award is considered to be the forum’s highest honor.
Greenstein, who represents District 14, was given the Thomas Jefferson Citizen of the YearAward for “uncompromising dedication to peace, equality and fairness for all, personifying the ideals of Thomas Jefferson and the founding fathers of America.”
The IACF is a non-partisan and nonprofit organization that fosters goodwill through civic responsibility and service. Members also promote multiculturalism as well as encourage participation in the political process, both locally and nationally.
