Mrs. Demscha, 96, of South River, died Nov. 11, 2008, at home. P rior to her retirement, she worked as a seamstress for South River Coat Co. Her husband, Eugene, died in 1987. Surviving are three daughters, Tamara Sica and Irene Borysewicz, with whom she lived, and Lola Danek of Edison; a brother, Alexander Issar of Poland; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A service was held at Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, South River. Interment was in the church cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River.
