These days when our financial anxiety has been elevated, there was nothing that could have lifted our spirits as well as did Haydn’s oratorio “The Creation.”
In a performance on Sunday, Oct 26 at Richardson Auditorium, the astonishing conductor, Francis Fowler Slade, the Princeton Pro Musica chorus and orchestra, and soloists, Sarah Pelletier, Scott Murphee and Christopher Temporelli gifted our eyes, ears and hearts. They should perform it once again at Carnegie Hall.
It was the greatest gift, and an antidote to our financial climate.
