EAST WINDSOR — A Hightstown man is accused of sexually assaulting a child that was in his care while he lived in the Windsor Regency Apartments about seven years ago, and then later in Millstone.
Luis Quezada, 36, was charged Oct. 29 by township police with aggravated criminal sexual contact, criminal sexual contact, and endangering the welfare of a child. State Police charged him separately with aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child for the alleged incidents in Millstone.
The victim, who is now 19 years old, reported being sexually assaulted by Mr. Quezada over the course of more than four years between Jan. 1997 and Feb. 2001 while they both lived in the same apartment in the complex, township police said. The alleged acts in the township occurred while the victim was between the ages of 8 and 11, according to East Windsor police.
Later they both moved to Millstone, where the alleged abuse continued, township police said.
State Police transferred him to the Monmouth County correctional facility in Freehold in lieu of $275,000 bail, according to a State Police spokesman. He remained there Thursday, State Police said.
