BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP — An undercover operation by township police, the Burlington County prosecutor’s office Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force, and the state Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control netted seven arrests Friday night at the Alstarz Sports Bar on Route 130.
Jordan Trout, 20, of Linden Road, was charged with underage drinking and possession of a controlled dangerous substance, which police said was a prescription pill. Tristan Hood, 19, of POW/MIA Drive, North Hanover, was also charged with underage drinking.
Jeffrey Goriva, 27, of North Brunswick, was charged with disorderly conduct, and was also cited for drinking an alcoholic beverage in the parking lot of the bar. Police said he obtained the drink at the bar.
Castel Torres, 28, of North Brunswick, and Early Hawley, 22, of Hamilton Township, were charged with disorderly conduct.
Immanuel Covington, 21, of Medford, was taken into custody on a Burlington City criminal warrant.
Joshua Kijonka, 21, of Browns Mills, was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
He was sent to Burlington County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail, and the others were released on summons complaints.
Police Chief Frank Nucera said the findings of the operation will be forwarded to the Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control for review and possible administrative action on the bar’s liquor license.
