MANSFIELD: Police seek man wanted for robbery

By Geoffrey Wertime, Staff Writer
MANSFIELD — Police were searching Monday for Tracy Law, 35, of Camden, in connection with a robbery at a CVS Pharmacy in Westampton and a one-car crash in Mansfield.
Police said they attempted to stop a purple Chrysler Concorde for a motor vehicle violation at 8:40 p.m. Nov. 5. The driver passed through the intersection of Route 68 and Mt. Pleasant Road and crashed into a tree in the front yard of a residence on the eastern side of the intersection, police reported.
The driver fled the scene and was not apprehended, police said, despite a search by township police with assistance from the state police, the Department of Defense, and the police departments of Springfield, Chesterfield, North Hanover, and Evesham Township.
Police said they then learned that the car was involved in a robbery of about $800 in facial creams and bath and body merchandise from a Westampton CVS Pharmacy at 8:29 p.m., leading to the launch of a joint investigation between Mansfield and Westampton police, establishing Mr. Law as the suspect.
Mr. Law is wanted on charges of eluding and obstruction in Mansfield, and for robbery by force in Westampton.
Anyone with knowledge of Mr. Law’s whereabouts is asked to contact Mansfield police at 609-298-4411.
