Anastasia Barna

   MANVILLE — Anastasia “Nancy” Barna died Nov. 22 at Raritan Health & Extended Care Center in Raritan. She was 84.
   Born in Hillsborough, she was a lifelong resident of Manville.
   Ms. Barna was a member of New Jersey Telephone Pioneers and Thomas J. Kavanaugh Post 2290 Veterans of Foreign Wars in Manville.
   She served as a hospital aide for the United States Army during World War II.
   She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church in Manville.
   She was predeceased by four sisters, Anna Albanese, Olga Barna, Julia Walaski and Mary Barna.
   Surviving are two sisters, Helen Perry of Bound Brook and Sophie Barna of Manville; and many nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services were held Nov. 26 from Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home in Manville, followed by a service at Ss. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church. Burial was in Ss. Peter and Paul Orthodox Cemetery in Hillsborough.
