East Windsor

   Two local men were charged Tuesday with possession of fewer than 50 grams of marijuana and various other drug-related offenses.
   Police said they apprehended Matthew S. Fried, 19, and Erik S. Fried, 23, at 10:05 a.m. at their home in the 200 block of Probasco Road after a two-month investigation.
   A search of the residence revealed several bags of marijuana in three different bedrooms, police said. In Matthew Fried’s bedroom, officers found a bag containing 41 individually packed small baggies of marijuana, according to police.
   Matthew Fried also was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to sell, possession of marijuana with the intent to sell in a school zone and possession of narcotic paraphernalia. Erik Fried also was charged with possession of narcotic paraphernalia.

   A victim reported that his blue Tony Hawk BMX bicycle went missing from behind the multiplex cinema on Route 130 between 8 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. Nov. 21. The bicycle was not secured during the time of the reported theft, police said.

   Police said a man in a late model black pickup truck with green lettering on both doors left the Hess Station on Route 33 without paying for $70 worth of gasoline at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. The man was described as having black hair, being clean-shaven, and wearing a brown jacket.

   Dilcia Martinez, 36, of Hightstown, was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated.   Police said they stopped her car on Morrison Avenue after they saw it make a wide right turn off Route 130 onto Dutch Neck Road and almost collide with another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction.
   Ms. Martinez also was charged with reckless driving, failure to keep right, careless driving and having an obstructed view.

   Police said a woman left the ShopRite on Route 130 without paying for $151 worth of groceries at 9:15 a.m. Saturday. She fled the area in a silver Toyota Camry, police said. The woman was described as being in her 60s with a medium build.

   Police said the owner of a bronze 1999 Ford van parked near Building 135 of the Orchard Apartment Complex reported that someone punctured one of vehicle’s tires between 8 p.m. Saturday and 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

   Police said a customer at the WaWa store on Hickory Corner Road used a counterfeit $100 bill and two counterfeit $20 bills to pay for items between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. Saturday.

Hightstown

   Marcos Guaman, 19, of Deerfield Apartments, was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, unlicensed driving, failing to have a taxi license, tampering with evidence, and numerous related violations.
   Police said they responded to Outcalt Street at 1:24 a.m. on a report of a motor vehicle accident, and arrived to find Mr. Guaman, the driver of a SuperTaxi, attempting to pass the keys of the vehicle to two male passengers in the back seat. Mr. Guaman had struck five parked cars before police arrived, had open containers of beer in the vehicle, and failed field sobriety tests, police reported. At headquarters, police said his blood-alcohol level registered at .17 percent.
   Mr. Guaman also was charged with DWI in a school zone, underage DWI, underage possession of alcohol, having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, careless driving and reckless driving.

   Nelson Juarez, 28, of Abbington Drive, East Windsor, was charged Saturday with careless driving, unlicensed driving, and unlawfully taking a means of conveyance. Police said they stopped him at 6:36 a.m. in the Stockton Street parking lot on suspicion of him being intoxicated, but found he was sober.
   During the stop, police reported learning that Mr. Juarez did not have a driver’s license, and that the car he was driving belonged to a friend. Police also said that when the friend was notified, it was revealed that Mr. Juarez took the keys without the permission or knowledge of the vehicle owner.

   New Jersey State Police turned John Pietrefesa Jr., 38, of Dutch Neck Road, East Windsor, over to Hightstown police at 8:40 p.m. Nov. 21 after taking him into custody on a Hightstown contempt-of-court warrant for a $797 traffic violation.

   Dario Gonzalez, 30, of Cedarville Road, East Windsor, was taken into custody at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday on a Hightstown contempt-of-court warrant for a $418 traffic violation.
