Robert Shoemaker 
   MERCERVILLE — Robert H. Shoemaker, 78, died Sunday, Nov. 16, at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton.
   Born and raised in Lambertville, he moved to Mercerville in1983.
   He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, the Toscanni American Legion Post 120 and the Hibernia Fire Company, all in Lambertville.
   He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict and later in the Marine National Guard.
   He retired in 1995 as an electrician from Princeton University Forrestal Research Center in the Plasma Physics Lab.
   He was the son of the late Raymond and Nettie Callan Shoemaker, brother of the late Mary Rietz and widower of Brenda Layden Shoemaker.
   Surviving are two sons, Robert of Stockton and Jeffrey of Boulder, Colo.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Cynthia Shoemaker and her husband, John Zerrer, of Stockton and Betsy Wonderlin of Moorestown, N.J.; a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Harry Bowe of Lambertville; a brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Maureen Shoemaker of Madison, N.J.; two stepsons, Marc Voorhees and his wife, Linda, and Scott Harrison; a stepdaughter, Laticia Cook; and seven grandchildren.
   A memorial service was held Saturday at the Garefino Funeral Home, Lambertville.

Mary Fox 
   LAMBERTVILLE — Mary A. Fox, 92, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township.
   A lifelong resident of Lambertville, Mrs. Fox was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church and the church choir.
   She worked for many years at Stanley Cleaners in Lambertville. She was a member of the Lambertville Senior Citizens Group.
   She was the daughter of the late George and Filameno Durante Fresco and widow of James Fox.
   Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Howard Smith of Lambertville; four grandchildren, Frank Albert, Captain Cameron Albert, Alissa Albert and Melissa Nimchuk; three great-grandchildren, Madison and Maesyn Albert and Brenda Nimchuk; and several nieces and nephews.
   A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday at the church. Burial followed in the parish cemetery.
   Arrangements were under the direction of the Garefino Funeral Home, Lambertville.

David Danberry 
   WEST AMWELL — David B. Danberry, 86, died Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township.
   Mr. Danberry was a lifelong resident of West Amwell.
   He retired in 1986 from the Delaware & Raritan Water Works.
   He was a member of the Young Men’s Athletic Club, holding many different offices over the years. He was a member and past chief of the West Amwell Fire Company. He was a member of the Amwell Masonic Lodge F&AM 12.
   He was a bus driver for the West Amwell Board of Education for many years.
   He was the son of the late Charles and Catherine Knotts Danberry.
   Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Harriet Stoy Danberry; a daughter, Kathleen Davison of Holland Township; two sons, David B. Danberry Jr. of New Britain, Pa., and Daniel Danberry of Phillipsburg; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services were private and under the direction of the Garefino Funeral Home, Lambertville.
