Ronald Rausch Jr.

   HIGHTSTOWN — Ronald “Ron” Edward Rausch Jr., 38, died Sunday in Lourdes Medical Center in Burlington.
   Born in Rahway, he lived in South Amboy and Sayreville before moving to Hightstown in 1978. He was a 1989 graduate of Hightstown High School.
   He worked for the borough’s Public Works Water Department for 20 years, and was a former longtime member of the East Windsor Rescue Squad and the Underwater Connection SCUBA Club.
   Son of the late Ronald Edward Rausch Sr., he is survived by mother and stepfather Ethel and David L. Babcock of Hightstown; son Ronald Edward Rausch III of Tuckerton; fiancé Lauren McGeady of Plainsboro; grandmothers Ann Friberg and Edith Sawtelle; sisters and brothers-in-law Kimberlee A. and Erik LemMon of Hightstown, and Christine and Keith Nunn of Union Beach; brother and sister-in-law Matthew and Norma Babcock of Arizona and their daughters, BryAna, Kalaa and Kinzee; aunts and uncles Joseph and Bonnie Majeski of Allentown, Patrick Rausch of Florida and Robert and Ethel Reed of Florida, Charles and Linnea Stevenson of New Hampshire, the Rev. Robert and Anna Mamrak of Mississippi; and cousins Joy, Sharon, Anne, Jennie, Ian, Leah, and John.
   Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Sunday at the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown.
   Family and friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
   Interment will be private, at the convenience of the family.
