Eduardo Giancola, 59, died Monday, Nov. 24, at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia.
Mr. Giancola was born in Castelpetroso, Italy, Lived in Monroe and for 37 years had owned the Monroe Auto Body business. He belonged to the Italian American Club of South River, and the Societa di Santa Maria del Addolorata.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Mary Jo Caputo-Giancola; two daughters Gabriella and Giorgiana; a sister, Giussepina Arcaro, of South River; and a brother, Angelo Giancola, of East Brunswick.
Services will be gin at 9 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 29, at the Lester Memorial Home, 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg, followed by a 9:30 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. James R.C. Church, Jamesburg. Burial will be in Holy Cross Burial park, East Brunswick. Visiting hours for family and friends will be today (Friday),. Nov. 28, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania, care of Ed Giancola.
