HILLSBOROUGH Jean (Stothard) Golcheski died Nov. 22, at home. She was 62.
Mrs. Golcheski was a teacher for 30 years, teaching middle school in Montgomery Township for much of that time.
She was an elder and a deacon at the Community Presbyterian Church of the Sand Hills in Kendall Park. She was instrumental in developing a monthly gathering at church for seniors and for implementing a worship service for the residents of the Franklin Care Center.
She was also a dedicated leader of the Montgomery Township Education Retirees and a member of National Education Association and the New Jersey Education Association, Somerset County Retired Teachers Association, and the Princeton Ski Club.
Surviving are her husband, Charles Golcheski; her father, Maynard Stothard; and two sisters, Vicki Younglove and Janet Muckey of New York; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Dec. 6 at the Community Presbyterian Church, 57 Sand Hills Road, Kendall Park, followed by a luncheon at the church.
